It is not everyday you get approached to take wedding photos at a Civil Union … Christina and Kerry you were amazing! Not only did you take the time to visit our ceremony and reception venue with us, you both took the time to get to know us as individuals and more importantly as a couple, making everything that much easier for us on the day.

Chris we can put whatever images you want here :) Our photos are out of this world and more than we could have ever wished for, thank you. The way you work together capturing special moments from different angles, our photos are real; they are a true reflection of our day. The laughter, the tears, the reflection, the happiness… you got it all.

Aside from this, I want to thank you both for the way you handled the death in our family days prior, you both treated everyone involved with that much care and sensitivity. The arrival of our photographs days after our special day was so unexpected but so deeply appreciated; those unable to attend got to share and see our special day.

Sorry I missed you when you dropped the photos off. We were surprised how quickly you delivered and we have already had a lot of joy going through the pics. Anna and Mike came home today and they are delighted with the photos and are keen to get them into an Album.

Kerry we have been so pleased with the work you and Christina have done. The photos are first class and will always be a special reminder of a very important family day. We approached Mums the Word via a search on Yellow Pages for a local photographer for our commitment Ceremony. Instantly I loved Kerry's attitude and buzz about what we were looking for. Within 5 minutes she had dropped off their portfolio. We were really impressed with the photos and booked them that day.

To whom it may concern

Kerry and Christina were the photographers for our wedding on January 20 2007, and we were just so happy that we'd chosen them.

Before the wedding Kerry and Christina spent time with us walking around the area we were having the wedding, to get a good idea of some nice places for shots. We really appreciated this, as I know many photographers just turn up on the day and aren't familiar with the space at all.

Chris we can put whatever images you want here :) On the day they made everyone feel so relaxed and at ease, so there were no awkward shots. During the ceremony I didn't notice them at all, but the resulting photos were lovely-they were obviously in the right place at the right time! They managed to capture a lot of the general mood without an 'in your face' approach.

We'd asked specially for some candid shots of us and the guests before the more formal shots after the ceremony and these worked really well. We also had some great group shots, and Kerry and Christina were very good at getting that party feel to the photos.

I especially appreciated their efforts with the children (never the easiest shots!). Thank goodness we thought to have some biscuits! The ladies plied the children with these and some lovely natural shots resulted. I was impressed they managed to get them to sit still for more than five minutes!

They had lots of very good suggestions for the formal photos and used the available space creatively. We've had a lot of comments about the magic being captured in those images, and are really pleased to we have so many good photos to choose from.

All through the photos their good humour and energy kept everyone's moods up, on what could have been a stressful time. Many people at the wedding commented on their warmth and at the same time their highly professional manner.

We would not hesitate to recommend Kerry and Christina to anyone. Our heartfelt thanks to them both for a lovely day.

Mike and I would like to thank you for the wonderful photography job you did for us on our wedding day.

We were so pleased with your professionalism in the planning of exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much bother for you guys and you let us be in charge of the photos we wanted on the day.

The day of the wedding you were brilliant in making everything connect for the photos that we wanted. You had planned the back rounds etc from the visit to the venue where we got married and the venue we wanted to have additional photos taken. Even when we were running a bit behind schedule you didn't rush us or make us feel that we were holding you up.

The photos and CD that we received in a few days after the wedding and the extra effort Kerry went to, in putting the photos in an album we had been given showed us that you go that extra mile. The photo's were outstanding, we could not of wished for anything better.

We hired the services of Say Cheese Photography (Mums the Word Ltd now) as our official wedding photographers in April 2004. We were absolutely delighted with the end product, & would have no hesitation recommending their services to others.

Both Kerry & Christina were very accommodating & spent a lot of time with us before the big day, ensuring they understood exactly what we wanted. They worked very well as a team to ensure this side of things ran smoothly for us on the day.

We were particularly impressed with their organisational skills, as we had 200 guests at our wedding & we required about 50 organised group shots. These went off without a hitch & ran to a very tight time schedule, thanks to Kerry & Christina.

We also found with our wedding party shots, that they made the experience relaxed & enjoyable. They were also quite creative with some of the shots they wanted.
